Not yet today, but it’s early. I have had a light moment with the dog. An event this evening will surely be both poignant and mirthful, a great combo. John Cleese is one of my heroes.
I have posted stories about my wife’s talk show with Kelly Clarkson..they end every single show with a funny or inspiring clip from a real person, who they then surprise and talk to…ends every day with a positive smile…as every day should have!
laughed out loud when I saw that photo….. so catching!
Didn’t know that John Cleese had such quotes in him…. he can be utterly caustic but he also is a razor sharp guy who’s not afraid to speak his mind!
Well done, again, Beth! 🙂
I live for a good laugh or to make someone laugh. There is no better sound in the world. I even feel quite pleased with myself when I can make my therapist have a huge laugh out loud. Makes my visit complete. I’m sure the rest of the offices wonder why I’m even there since we laugh so much. 😉
You can’t be angry, or nasty or resentful when laughing…it’s such a valuable skill…that we all have, but sometimes forget to use. Now that is philosophical for 11.20pm at night….
And the best one to laugh with are children. I love when my grandkids gurgle and squeak with joy!

What a splendid reminder! Thank you! We all need those. I’ll add Mark Twain’s “Against the assault of laughter, nothing can stand.” Thanks again!
