We had these little things at our office last week…right in front of the main door on the sidewalk. Not sure where they came from or where they eventually went, but that’s the first time they have appeared.
The other night we discovered a toad sitting quietly under the coffee table on the white shag rug down in our familyroom. Where or how it got there is a mystery but it seemed happy to stop watching tv and head outside!
‘Toad’ally cool!

Adorable…when I remarried, my daughter was 12…I have a picture of her wearing her Bridesmaid dress while cradling a baby frog she found outside…

I’m guessing the grandie was more excited. Mr. Toad was probably just hoping.

Imagine….Grandie appears like a blue whale would to us to toadster. I mean, if we came upon a blue whale on our walks.

The spirit compensates the size… it’s often true in life. Great message, Beth.

so succinct, so sweet — and a great saying. I reckon it applies to humans as well 🙂 the more a runt, the more roughneck 🙂
