wow, you’ve still got something with leaves? Ours have come down in a great hurry these last days. Beautiful quote – love it!
PS – Last night it snowed a bit, just enough to put some pre-Advent ‘sugar coating’ on the bushes and shrubs, lawns and roofs. Lovely!
So true! I’ve resolved to embrace late fall and winter this year. I forced myself to go out for a walk twice this week on my lunch hour and was so glad I did. Nothing beats fresh air!
Spent some time each of the last two days riding in the woods, on the trails I ride several times a week all summer. With all of the leaves down, the woods are a much brighter, more spacious place. I love seeing what I missed behind the leaves!
I’m just wishing for our spring sunshine to hit the boardwalk soon …

we are in late Spring here, Beth, and I make sure I spend a few afternoons a week out in the open air, down at the beach, sun hat on, of course 🙂

I like the winter sun. It shines right into my computer room and warms it up. No need to step outside. 🙂

Wow, look at that color! We have had our first snow today… no more fall colors over here.

we may have snow on Sunday, most colors are gone, but some have lingered

How lovely that must look like when those leaves are twinkling through the snow.

There is such a beauty outside but it must be experienced not just observed.

All our leaves are down, but still no sign of snow. Highly unusual for Denver.

I think I remember sunshine. It’s bright and leaves shadows, right? You can drive without the lights on. Vaguely familiar

Yeah, if that guy stayed inside he had to write really dark stories. I don’t blame him at all!!! 😉
