Gorgeous picture and so true. Every day has a sunrise, birds in flight, and the movement and flow of all the air on this earth. Maybe the air I’m breathing was in Russia yesterday. It’s good to stop and remember.
We are supposed to stop changing clocks next year. Finally. It has already been passed into “law,” by those who don’t ask us about it, but instead of doing it right away, they want us to wait another year, because little they do makes any sense.
Such a great pairing! What an awesome quote…. We had ours on the 30th October – it‘s dark now in the morning and black at 6pm. I wish we could all keep summer time. Felt always so right to me.
Indeed, each moment should be savored

it should, no matter what time you assign to it

Good quote from H.G. We had the clocks back last week, and I am just about getting adjusted to it.
Best wishes, Pete.

I vote for just leaving the time alone )

I would prefer lighter evenings, given the choice. 🙂

What a beautiful painting, I don’t know that one of his, thanks.

My body doesn’t care what time the clock says. It will take me some time to adjust….again! Great quote, Beth!

Only good thing about the change is that the computer does the change for me.
I’m ready for the nonsense to stop.

So interesting to consider. The painting is a lesser-known Klimt

What an excellent quote about being present in the moment. Thank you.

The days remain the same, Beth, you got it, it’s only the way we interpret them that changes.

Each day – each minute, even each second – has a purpose which can be found when we stop looking forward or backward and just focus on the present.

We’re in Cabo San Lucas. The time changed on October 30. But at home, it’s an hour earlier. Onward!

I especially like that clock with the second hand that moves from now to now.
I needed ny cell phone to make sure the clock time had really changed (yet again), but the sun is a better gauge of what time it is.

I’d prefer more light in the evenings, but mostly I’d prefer just not changing the clocks twice a year. Such an unnecessary hassle!

Sounds like the senate passed it but not the house yet. It’s expected to pass this year bit with everything in politics being upside down who knows?

In all honesty, I don’t care. I’m in the minority who prefers standard time. Damned democracy… 😉

just leave it at one time or the other and I’m happy live that way, it’s the constant changing back and forth that annoys me

Awesome quote. I always preferred standard until I moved to IL, where sunlight falls at Four Dark Thirty.
