The only thing better than election day is the day after, when I don’t have to watch any political commercials. Please, everyone, exercise your power of choice and get out and vote!

yes – and sadly, it won’t be all over on election night, but at least the commercials will be

Good luck with your elections, Beth. Everyone over there needs to try to stop ‘Gilead’ from happening in real life.
Best wishes, Pete.

I hope their rallying was effective! Obama and Biden were in Philadelphia and elsewhere in PA to campaign for Fetterman and Shapiro.

Yes, may the ‚good‘ win everywhere. THEN the hard work will continue; but at least you‘ll know where you stand. My heart is with the friends in the States. Go and VOTE! (Needless to say however that those who read your blog, have done that already or will go and vote ….)

I like Sec. Mayor Pete and his husband – did not know they moved to Michigan. How calculating!

They’re great and he’s one of my favorite politicians. His husband’s family lives here

Ah! Did not know that. Good things could come from the move in all sorts of ways.

The right to rally, protest, voice your opinion and vote are all on the list of things to be eliminated by the right wing. In every country, we must be observant and careful…

I do agree it will be nice to have all the commercials gone. I hope if nothing else they inspired more folks to cast their votes regardless of who they vote for. Democracy depends upon it.

I’ve never felt more concern for the election than I have this year. You bet I will vote.

“Big Gretch”? Don’t think I’d want to be called that, but I assume it stems from respect. I do love Mayor Pete. Wish he’d moved to Colorado!

I’m looking for some middle ground here. I know we can’t keep having extremist candidates who further the divide.
