  1. I sometimes worry that Biden is too old for that job. Watching him making his speech yesterday, he seemed very slow, and not completely focused. He is not my president, but the decisions he makes affect the whole world. He seems to be a nice man, but I think he should not have taken on such an important role.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. I agree with Pete about having some concern over Biden’s age and health, but I think he’s doing a true job of taking on issues and quietly asserting his ability to make changes that are needed. I want to remind the commenter who said “he’s not my president” that, indeed, he IS your president, albeit he may not be the person for whom you voted to become president. To say that he is not your president indicates that you are not a citizen of this country, since he is the country’s president whether you like it or not.

  3. LOL – I don’t know if you meant it this way but I read the title in internet-speak. Presidents. Period. πŸ™‚ Yes, regardless of flaws, frailties, and ideology, I believe both officials are doing their best at this time to help save their respective countries.

  4. Sadly Beth, posting something like this always raises the possibility of people throwing down political commentary, when the visit was simply designed to show solidarity from the US for a country that was brutally invaded by a neighboring dictator. Perhaps if the support now being shown Ukraine had been shown in the late 30’s, WW2 could have been avoided – and tens of millions of innocent lives spared.

  5. That was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in the news. I posted my Presidents’ Day thing on Facebook and was sadly reminded that people react more often than they respond. OH well live and keep learning the same thing over and over πŸ€ͺ
