white water rafting on the sarapaqui river
sometimes a puma will check out the action on the river

local cacao farm (costa rica chocolate – sarapaqui)
to learn about the process
the history of the family’s story and growing cacao here
so much amazing tasting
sometimes these little poison frogs will help the farm by eating the mosquitos.

the chocolate was insanely good picked, separated, roasted, ground, turned into all kinds of chocolate drinks, candy, and tastes.

Looks like a very enjoyable and interesting vacation. By the way, while reading this post and the quote about chocolate I was, in fact, eating a bar of chocolate.

Back in the old days, a woman commented on my smoking with: “That will kill you.” I flippantly said: “We all die from something.” Her rejoinder: “I’d rather die of chocolate.” She made her point. :-)

Lots of whitewater rafting in here in Colorado, but certainly no wild kitties along the way. And no divine chocolate at the end. Whee, I’m having so much vicarious fun!
