Where did September go? Just last night I had to set my lamps to come on earlier and next week the man is coming out to turn off my sprinklers. Our first freeze is usually mid- to late October.
We love it, too. I saw on FB this morning that several of the years I’ve lived here — including the first! — I took basically the same photo of the aspen on the mountains I took today. 🍁
October has two very close family birthdays too.

it takes a few days to adjust, Beth , but it means it doesn’t get light too early and stays light longer; someone should write a poem about it :)
