ten years have passed
since the moment
when my entire 6-pack of grandies
at last
all on the same continent
met for the very first time
in a large box on my front lawn
as long as i live
i will never forget that moment.

how beautiful! And REAL photos…. that‘s one of today‘s problems with smartphones and trillions of pics which then get lost or deleted or are just never ever to be found when you need them. and, btw, I love Jim Gaffidan

That is awesome! Cousins need to see each other – even if only for a weekend or an 80th birthday party or a gathering for an afternoon. It’s magical. I hope it happens often.

What he said! Incredibly lovely memory. Well said.
It reminds me of this thing from Robert Southey: “No distance of place or lapse of time can lessen the friendship of those who are thoroughly persuaded of each other’s worth.” May the cousins remain thoroughly persuaded :)

That’s wonderful and right. We don’t have any grandkids in my family yet but getting all the nieces and nephews together can be rather difficult
