Now the election is over I have to confess that I honestly never expected America to elect a black woman to be the president. I was surprised by the size of the margin though, as I thought the result would go to the wire. My commiserations, Beth.

i find it very sad that it is that way. i would imagine that some people had an issue w/ her trans views as well i do wish the underlying culture of portions of the US society would change and be more welcoming to differences of all types and respect people for who they are..

It’s taking every bit of strength to even find any remnants of wits today. We are devastated beyond words. Maybe after the shock wears off a little I’ll be able to form some kind of a coherent thought about this horrible news. It feels like grieving right now. Ugh! Chris

A tough day for sure. I’m going to try and adopt my son’s football coaching philosophy. After a tough losss, her says he gives himself one day to sulk 🤣 and then it’s time to pick himself back up and get after it. That’s what I’ll do tomorrow after a day of mourning.
