Well done, to be able to participate and compete in something you love doing, is the main aim of the game, and success will follow, with lots of training and experience gained from each event …

all is know is that he does not get this skill from me, he trains really hard, and is really good. now if I could be in a speed haiku competition in a coffee shop, I might have a shot

I find it especially thrilling when my grandchildren excel in skills I do not have. Of course, I have provided them with quite a bit of opportunity in that regard!

How cool! Is this the type of race that has steep-banked curves?
LikeLiked by 1 person
yes, it’s indoors in a velodrome and they good 30+mph once they get going. there is a junior group from age 6+ and from teens onward all compete together. one of the guys who won a heat was 68 and his grandson was also racing.
