That young man is going to lead a good life and be valued. Three things I would treasure in a friend too.
Best wishes, Pete.

0h I want to be his friend, if he’ll have me. I might not be goofy enough for him, but I’d try really hard.

He must have wonderful parents. And definitely a great (goofy) teacher! I’m trying to think up the 3 I would write and can’t come up with anything better.

A fine list. He’s definitely a boy. That list might just show up among my sixth graders and with similar handwriting! That’s amazing. Made me smile and inspired for a new week. Peace.

Wise old soul in such a young aged little man. How many know the word dignity at that age, much less understand its meaning?

I’m especially curious about how this student learned the word dignity, as that is a much higher-level concept and vocabulary word.
One of my favorite stories about vocabulary happened the first year I taught 2nd grade. I was trying to describe a story setting so that my students could better understand. One little guy (Kaden) raised his hand and said, “Oh, it’s like a haberdashery.” 🤣 He was totally on point.
