I enjoy seeing local news headlines like ‘Responds to burning mattress’. That says a lot about Ann Arbor being a nice place to live. Similar to our own local town newspaper recently. ‘Bank branch to close down’, and ‘Police seek information concerning ride-on lawnmower theft’.

I’m trying to figure out if burning mattress is literally a burning mattress or if it’s code for something else. Either way, these local news stories are always interesting. Good luck with back to school to all the students, parents, educators… and firefighters!

I bet firefighters have some great stories. If that book hasn’t been written yet (which it probably has), somebody should do it. Where else do you find mattress fires, except in institutions of higher learning?🤣
