the tiny expo art show
at our downtown library
had a wide range of artists
with beautiful work
one of the most unusual
was some of jaci riley’s work
tiny earrings
cast from her cat, Beatrix’s lost tooth.

Life, Beyond the Lines
Life’s a continual battle
but the battle lines
are there to be crossed
Life’s wondrous museum
inspires me to keep exploring
the universe’s grand Colosseum

I used to work in a funeral home, and this would be a genius gift of remembrance for people of their pets… I mean, we used to have people ask for things such as having the bones of the departed humans turned into diamonds, which they then had set into jewelry… no joke

Um…it’s kind of a personal thing. I’m not up for wearing parts of anyone else. LOL Cat or otherwise. 🤣

I thought so, but still, if they my cat’s it would be a different story. LOL I do hope she’s successful and sells them.

she had a variety of art for sale and this was sitting up front in her booth, I happened to notice it because it was so interesting, and her art was all quite tiny and sweet

she had a lot of different pieces and her art was nice, this was just one item and I found it interesting – maybe it’s to draw people in

This reminds me of our trip to Scotland where we found (and bought) earrings made from the hair of Highland steers. There’s no one way to make art.
