I have seen a lot of those snow ducks in different locations featured on Twitter. They use moulds to create them really quickly. ‘The Catcher In The Rye’ was one of my favourite books when I was a teenager.
Best wishes, Pete.

Thank you for explaining that. I did wonder.

they were new to me as well, and also thought the people who were fans of the book would enjoy the quote –

That’s a great idea! I thought about ducks last weekend when we drove by the pond where we recently fed them. This might be a fun activity to do this weekend. We certainly have the snow on the ground!

What a fun idea. I love when people get creative with snow. Anything to break up the monotony of winter rates highly with me.

How cute is that! 🦆 I read that book in HS, assigned to me by my ex-military turned HS English teacher.

I stumbled upon Catcher in the Rye in the family bookshelves when I was an impressionable 14 year old. I was fascinated by it. I don’t remember the quote from the book but it may have inspired me to learn where the ducks go in winter!

if nothing else…. and now you know that they line up in parks and let the snow cover them
