went to buy my teaching partners a little something with a mexican flair as part of their holiday gifts. ole, ole, ole!
—
when i got home, actually put my glasses on, and went to wrap their gifts, i discovered that i had bought this.
when i gave them their gifts, they were not surprised and very understanding and said it had been a rough week and maybe firewater was more what they needed anyway. this is why we work well as a team.

That is too funny, Beth. Fireball sure has smart graphic designers doing the label work! I can see making the same mistake with my reading glasses sitting on ther car console. Your teaching colleagues may like the cinammon whisky in any case.

Cinnamon whisky, that’s hysterical! I live in Spain and I make this kind of mistake all the time, because I buy things by the colour of the packaging without bothering to read the labels…

I think your teaching partners are delightful in their acceptance. They made a great joke about ‘firewater!’ I am helpless without my contacts in, but I have grabbed things often to find, once home, it wasn’t even my eyesight but the familiarity of its appearance. I am, like Mark above, thinking that was a wise move on the designers of the label! I like cinnamon and would make it a hot toddy with apple cider or some kind of warm drink! It will be hot by itself! Feliz Navidad!
