i’m nearly there at last – retirement next year – and folk at work are now asking what I plan to do when I finish work. To which I reply – sleep
They think I’m kidding – I’m not !
To be able to awake when I want to wake-up and not when I need to is a luxurious pleasure I am much looking forward to
In the meantime, as I sit lotus-like on the floor with my laptop, the peace of a quiet sunday morn broken only by the chirruping of birds in the garden and the snoring of 3 dogs fast asleep on the sofas, I envy the buggers – they have a better lifestyle than I do 😆
I have the same curtains from Saffron Marigold!! Love the name you gave him and am glad to see that some cats actually sleep in the beds we get them as well as the other cozy places they find:0))
Oh, this is a good reminder for me, since I try to pack way too much stuff into my days (and nights!) every part, the photos, your choices in words and quotes: Perfect message to be lazy and go home now from the library!!
thanks, ellespeth. for all of this. i know that the wp fairies mess things up from time to time and we have to start over to get back to where we were –
It’s Nacho’s world, we just rent a room in it. I wish that I slept that well!

Ahhh, the art of sleeping – well done Nacho. Love where you have his basket – he can look out the window between naps. Puurrrfect.

Must be an orange cat thing. My Chester is the same way. He has a bed a lot like that one, uses it a lot, but sleeps in the funniest of places!
