Amazing Beth – you read my mind. I was sitting on the steps in the rain yesterday (with an umbrella) waiting for my ride. All up and down the street the big maple trees were orange and yellow and the street and sidewalk were covered with the colorful leaves. The rain was pitter pattering on the leaves Very, very Fall and very very hush..

You get such pretty leaf shows up your way. We go from green to brown pretty quickly around here. Charleston has two gingko trees. I always visit them in fall for their bright yellow fans.

I love that big red maple leaf blowing in the wind. That’s a beautiful proverb. Autumn can be noisy if you jump in a pile of crunchy leaves, but it also quiets our footsteps. ;-)
