There are times when I feel like a beast of burden. I’m greatly relieved when a thoughtful student offers to help me bring my things to my classroom. 😉
Oh, as a past preschool teacher do I relate to this one, Beth! We may trace fingers to make hand “antlers” while at school but at home, we open folder and cut those little precious antlers out! I remember all the things I would be at stores chasing to find feathers for headdresses, pipe cleaners for wrapping around pencils for butterfly antennaes, etc!! Why not just roll the kitchen sink someone said, as I took my “luggage” into the school!! 😉
I hope that teacher isn’t carrying a load of supplies she had to buy at her own expense because the school board doesn’t do what taxpayer dollars are supposed to take care of.
Isn’tthis the truth!? Even volunteering I’m schlepping a bag….. Goes with the territory😉

Used to be a teacher. Used to go to work over-loaded but happy. Now I mostly stay at home. Still happy.
