My friend Beth writes one of the most eclectic and entertaining blogs I know. From her sharp-edged quotes to her absolutely awwww-inspiring tales of her kindergarten class, her life becomes free verse, centered.
I asked her to join me as a guest blogger for my themed Vacations and Holidays posts while I’m away this month, and she sent me a wonderful piece on the journey to that most human of emotions—compassion. Others grow to adulthood, live their whole lives, and even engage in presidential debates without ever making that journey.
I hope you enjoy Beth’s unique perspective on life as much as I do. You can find more at her blog, https://ididnthavemyglasseson.com
