once sneaked (yes, sneaked) out of a white house event,

commandeered an airplane, and went on a joyride to baltimore.

  1. There is a plaque commemorating Amelia Earhardt’s flight across the Atlantic where she landed, about an hour away from where we live. We lived nearby, up to about 8 years ago, and often visited the spot. So I guess that you are at the beginning of her flight and we are at the end.

I’ll have to see if I have a photo to share.

  2. I love to come visit your blog! Uplifting.
Now, on to these two here 😛 This had me cracking up. What a pair! And the furs, right? I guess, if you had a fur, it was a good thing to wear on a plane in those days 🙂
