got these for my grandies
soon to set off for a camping trip
on manitou island
where they’ll have only whatever they can carry in
this utensil will help to take care of at least 4 things
knife, fork, spoon, and ?

Yes, Beth, I agree with spatula, but I’d say for cooking the fresh eggs they’ll stumble upon from the wild chickens on the island. Oh, yeah, a pan?

I was thinking all of the above but everyone beat me to it. 🙂

Aside from the obvious shoehorn I think this could be used as a shovel and a tool for emergency circumcisions.

Clearly my mind derailed. I thought the 4th use was to dig a pit toilet–in case of emergency.

According to Amazon, it’s a pot scraper.

I’m late, but I guessed boomerang, too — until I looked it up and found the real (and utterly boring) use!

That’s pretty cool. The only think I can think of would be to scrape something. The rounded end would fit into a pot at the bottom. This would be something very useful for you, Beth, because I’m sure that you would be burning pots right and left over a campfire.

I’m going to see if it’s on Amazon and get one for my grandson, he goes on long treks with minimal gear.
