Bitter sweet I imagine. Hopefully next Semester things will be back to normal and you can look forward to seeing new students gleefully running into the building as it will be such a novelty, this will be the picture of them arriving 🙂

I sometimes think of my former students, Beth and what has become of them. I hope they all made it successfully into fully realized adults, though some lost themselves along the way. Occasionally one waves to me through the window of the pub we drink at Friday nights 🙂

May the next school year go on with less life-altering interruptions and course-correction for all, Beth. Congratulations to all students, teachers and parents for navigating this doozie of an ending to study year 2019-20.

This coronavirus period has been hard on all of us who deal with kids and education. Thanks for remaining positive.

Such a bitter sweet moment. I suspect every child attending school this past year will remember this time for the rest of their lives. Fingers are crossed for next year.

One of the many casualties of this worldwide pandemic is the spirit of our children – the exhilarating freedom has been stifled for now – cant wait for it to come back

This year should count for two years credit. Most schools don’t get out here in California for another two weeks.

I had no idea it was perfectly acceptable to whip one’s shirt off when leaving school on the last day. All those missed opportunities…

If only my children could be with their friends, at least a little. But at least they have each other. I worry about all the only-children.
