Dec20 overlapping. Posted on December 20, 2020 by beth Standard today while out shopping for christmas i unexpectedly ran into my old friend, valentine’s day. — “i had that curious feeling that i was living on several planes simultaneously; the overlapping of these planes was confusing.” -anna kavan Share this:FacebookPinterestEmailPrintTwitterLinkedInMoreRedditTumblrLike Loading...
It is unreal how much things are rushed …. At some point they may as well just leave all holiday stuff out all year …. LikeLiked by 3 people Reply ↓
I guess you don’t want to leave your Valentine’s shopping to last minute, but this may be a little much! Great post, Beth! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
Well, at least the xmas stuff is beginning to go on sale. If you hurry you might just be able to pick up a good deal before it’s all gone. LikeLike Reply ↓
VD always goes out right after Christmas on the holiday wheel, and I’d guess that store ran low on Xmas stuff due to the strange year it’s been. We’ve been forced to fill empty counters with the next holiday in line many time before where I work… LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
Actually, it’s pretty amazing how adept we’ve become keeping the planes separate, which of course is an illusion. LikeLike Reply ↓
Pretty soon summer things will be out. Eventually, none of it will go away and they will just have aisles for different holidays all year long. LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
They’re already busting out the Valentine’s goodies? I guess they want to keep the Christmas momentum going… LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
It’s not a surprise; given that “Blursday” was a word of the year, maybe the holidays are all beginning to blur together as well… LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
Oh my. Well, I guess that is proof that when it comes to calendaring we have lost our way. LikeLiked by 2 people Reply ↓
Oh, no!! I guess they have to put something on the shelves since there is no toilet paper. ;( LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
And Easter too? They usually start selling hot cross buns and eggs here on Boxing Day!! LikeLiked by 1 person Reply ↓
