Can’t take “credit..” Electricity went off at 3:30 and when it goes on again, it sounds like grand central in here..printer makes noises, Alexa starts yapping..then the dog has to go to the bathroom…haha- I had no choice but to get up!

I read another version of that quote this morning in a beautiful new book I received called “The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse”. It’s by Charlie Mackesy. The mole’s version is “If at first you don’t succeed, have some cake.” I like both versions!

Penguins are pretty tough. I’m sure she’ll be back on her sweet penguin feet soon. Sometimes we have to get up and keep going, even when we don’t want to.

The image reminded me of my son who put his plush penguin out in the snow two days ago. He dug a little cave and put it inside… my son is already 18! They never grow too old for such ideas… lol
