  1. Wow, this is very very interesting! We read about the adjectives order in grade 6 and I remembered it with the acronym OSASCOMP. The IAO totally explains the violation in some cases. This was very interesting and enriching.

  2. I used to teach parts of this, but only the adjective order, not the ablaut reduplication. In German it’s simpler because Little Red Riding Hood is all one word: Rotkäppchen.

  3. I wonder how different it is in other languages… and do they have their own rules native speakers don’t know? I do like trusting in the “do what sounds right” approach. Thanks for that but of enlightenment!
