  1. I got my Moderna booster today. The Colorado Department of Health bus was parked down the street. I was on my way to buy groceries, saw it, saw there weren’t a lot of people, pulled into the parking lot, filled out my papers, got my shot. The Public Health people were amazing and I’ve. never had such a painless shot. BUT — for some reason, I’m an emotional wreck from it. I think all my feelings about the past year and a half are just hiding in a knot down there without any way of expression. I honestly don’t know how. Anyway, after our shot, they gave us all a bottle of water and said, “Hydrate for us, OK?” I thought I was going to cry right then and there. I am still surprised by kindness. ❀

  2. This reminds me of when a friend house and dog sat for us one time. She used our dining room windows as her whiteboards for work. She didn’t clean the windows very well, so we had words about organizational management strategies up for about a month before I finally took a good scrubbing to them. I teased her, “Who do you think you are? Russell Crowe in a Beautiful Mind?” Hahaha.
