 Every fall in Osijek, Croatia – Nikola Faller, academic sculptor and Osijek land artist, creates this magic.

Her drawings are made by raking leaves.

  16. It’s so beautiful and unusual. I suspect it’s much like some sand art; it’s meant to be blown away in time. Its ephemeral nature is a large part of its appeal. It certainly gives another meaning to Robert Frost’s phrase, that “nothing gold can stay.”

  31. I’ve never seen anything like this–it’s stunning. I love the fallen leaves; I’m not a raker, although I do blow the leaves off of my porch area.It seems nature knows what to do with itself so it’s best I not interfere too much. This is inspiring!
