hahaha a similar scene at my daughter’s place which I left about twenty minutes ago after a lovely Xmas dinner: both dogs, German Shepherds, were stretched out on the carpet, replete and dozing :)

Great shot! There’s a hole in my ho-ho because our beloved Toulouse won’t be here this year. First Christmas in many. But all the humans are here and we all miss him. It will be a fine morning, nonetheless.

Why do animals always find a way to camouflage themselves? My parents’ dog perfectly blends in with the living room floor too.
Halloween is the worst, and Christmas the best day for dogs :).
