when people ask
what is your mantra or what quote do you live by?
my answer is simply one word:
go.
this covers everything for me-
go ahead
go slowly
go with care
go away
go for it
way to go
go now
go with the flow
go out of your way
go all in
let go
go with a kind heart
go take a closer look
go find your way
easy come easy go
go for broke
go in peace
go around it
go softly
go to sleep
go when you need to
give it a go
go over the top
go see the world
go live life
go help
go deep
go on
go toward
time to go
go gently
go home
go.
—
how do you go?

In documenting many of the ways go has gone forth into our language, you didn’t just go through the motions, nor did you go overboard, either.

Definitely a word to live by. I ‘go’ every day, to take Ollie for his walk. And yesterday I ‘went’ to a nature reserve in lovely weather. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.

Sweet! I like it. Go sure beats staying in one spot! Some people are confined for health reasons in one spot, but for most of us there is no excuse!

I agree, though it’s even possible to ‘go’ somewhere in one’s mind

STAY. Stay here. Stay safe. Stay calm. Stay healthy. Stay hopeful. Stay kind. Stay in tune with nature. Stay respectful. Stay compassionate. Stay giving. Stay true to yourself. Stay aware. Stay awake. Stay asleep. Stay brave. Stay delightful. Stay eager. Stay joyous. Stay engaged. Stay approachable. Stay warm. Stay cool. Stay dry. Stay believing. Stay focused.
Sorry, that’s all that I can think of with only 1/2 cup of coffee in me and a few minutes time! I just wanted to see the other side of the coin.

From these years connected, Beth, I know you are a go-getter. Thinking about my place all these decades, my word pops up as Listen. To others. To what I’m conveying. For the joy of music. For the true message to you. For the beauty of nature … On it goes.

This is beautiful, Beth. 💛 I’ve been recently following Mel Robbins 5 second rule of similarity. I want to go and “do”. One of my favorite Eagle’s song is “Do Something”. I’ve let fear, failure, health hold me back. God gave me confidence to “go”. And now do. Thank you for being in this space. Here I go, I’ve got little special kids waiting on me today for Club Jr! 5, 4, 3, 2,…💛
