Happy April Fool’s Day to you! I remember this being a big deal when I was a farm kid. Here were the usual Fool’s Day jokes among me and my siblings: “The cows are out!” “The toast is burning!” “The bus is here!”

I was expecting to see a lot more April Fool hoaxes and news items today. So far, I haven’t seen any, but the world situation is rather too serious for such pranks, I get that.

it was also my dad’s birthday, he’d have been 101 on this April fools’ day…. and it IS the b’day of the one remaining aunt of HH…. both no fools in any way – I however celebrate the fool in myself day after day!
