  1. When I was growing up, I often felt like the invisible child – only girl, middle child, didn’t get it much or big trouble. Years later, I had to work through how feeling like an invisible child impacted me. Now, I would want it to be my superpower! Proof, I guess, that the grass is always greener…

  2. When we played hide and seek, my sister used to “hide” behind trees all the time that hid the “front” of her and her eyes, but her fanny always stuck out. And then she was surprised when I found her. And I never explained because…well…it made finding her easy:)

  3. I used to hide “behind” the incinerator in our yard completely oblivious to the fact that I was on one side of it from the vantage point of my mom watching from the kitchen window. “If I can’t see her, she can’t see me.”
