I love the coloured one! My first car was a 10-year-old grey bomb. I plastered bright yellow flower decals (I think they were called) all over it and called it Ziggy. I loved it.
The T-Bird was always desired in Britain. But being left-hand drive made it a challenge to drive on our roads. (Other favourites were the Corvette and the Mustang.)
Best wishes, Pete.
Kerouac could write. My neighbor has two T-birds, one of which he’s had since the early 60s and it belonged to his dad who bought it new. When he gives me a ride to the car dealership when I get work done everyone has to go see it.
Beautiful paintwork!

I understand the, “this one shares my vintage” comment. I actually flew a two-seater plane for 350 some hours that was my vintage!

I prefer to be seen as a classic rather than an antique. But sadly, I come with high mileage. Great post, Beth!

We are a country of cars and they mean so much to us. We name them and care for them and love them. 🙂 T-Birds.
