I loved when they redid our street some 30 years ago (except for the street assessment). No traffic. It was gloriously quiet for weeks and weeks.

it’s nice – and they usually close the downtown streets to cars from Thursday night to Sunday night in the spring and summer to just have pedestrians and bikes.
