ann arbor pride fest 2023

so happy to live in a city that takes pride in all people and celebrates everyone.

“festivals promote diversity, they bring neighbors into dialogue, they increase creativity,
they offer opportunities for civic pride, they improve our general psychological well-being.
in short, they make cities better places to live.”

Yeah yesss…. I often think that your town is a great place to live and this confirms it.
btw, Zurich has a great and very colourful gay parade, too. So maybe I’m a bit biased?! 🌈

It was an important part of checking in on possible next living quarters for us too. Glad we both found our happiness.

We have one in Norwich, our nearest large city. It is well-attended, and increasing in size every year. I am happy to see it flourishing in a very Conservative area.
Best wishes, Pete.

We should all take pride. Or at least work towards a time when we can.

I know that our Potato Festival brings us together and helps us celebrate the end of the tourist season, though they do bring in a lot of money in the summer. It’s great to see everyone together doing the San Luis Valley Thing. Normally, no politics.

This is the first I’ve heard of a Michigan pasty. I know the plural of the word in a rather different context.

Perhaps some enterprising Michigander will launch a combined festival, presumably for adults only, featuring the two kinds.
