1st; what a great name! So true…
Then; is it sage? When I was a child, we had sage leaves dunked in an omelette dough and fried in oil… we called them mouse tails. The leaves were held by their long stems, and we got powder sugar on the baked “mice “….
We should never close our senses. There are new things to see, hear, feel, smell, taste. Let the child in us always be alive.
I’m going to taste olives tonight. I promise not to hold my nose. :(
Aww, gentle. Yes. I hear my daughter-in-law say this often to my tiny grand. I love this word in so many ways. Your picture is a perfect description (as is the quote).💛
It’s my pleasure to be here, Beth! Yes, both of them are doing a great job at working on “gentle” . One dil a Montessori girl,…lots of STEM and great language going on (my little grandson has expressive language that will develop later, but he knows “gentle” well!). 💛🤗
So many great tidbits here today.
A gentle touch.
The braided bread, and its meanings.
The hitchhiking mantis.
A tiny home and yard where sunflowers could grow & all the different families & could live, mermaids could swim in the pool out back and watch young people solve problems.
Thank you,Beth!
That took me back to experiencing the same surprise. Lovely stuff, Beth.
Best wishes, Pete.

But is it sage? Because in my memories, it could be. A herb – but I‘m not sure about its appearance.
