Britain has pancake day on Shrove Tuesday. This year that fell on the 17th of February. But we forgot to have any! 😊

I am probably one of the few people who really does not like pancakes. I will eat them if laced with blueberries or chocolate chips. Otherwise, no thank you. And I top them only with butter, nothing else.

I also just learned recently that Fat Tuesday is also called Pancake Tuesday.
Who knew that we have two special days to celebrate the wonder of pancakes?

Pancakes are not something we ever have for breakfast here, unless we go to Maccas or somewhere like that. They are snack food to us. These do look like fun.

I remember when my grandma made Mickey Mouse pancakes. Never tried making the face, just did the head and ears. My siblings and I loved those.
