yay! love this and I always celebrate the winter solstice with my class, using music and interpretive dance, and them holding flashlights and throwing fake snow. )it’s quite something, like a Saturday night live skit. )

oh, I just thought about the fact, that ‘technically’ we only speak about winter from the 22 December and not as of NOW…. :)

I am almost ready for inches and inches of snow over the winter. I have been busy buying ingredients for all of the recipes I’m trying. I have the list, but I still haven’t stocked my winter pantry. My favorite part of snow is when I look out at night at the street lamp across the street and watch the flakes dancing in the light. My least favorite part is the big mounds of snow in parking lots and on street corners that are covered with all of the cinder that has been plowed up with the snow.

I agree about this, and my only issue is commuting in it. if I’m home or don’t have to go far, I really love it

On the weather news last night, I heard the ominous phrase, “Possibility of snow from Wednesday night into Thursday in the south-east region”. My heart sank.

You’re right about the tip-toeing….here in the Chicago area we got ‘frosting’ yesterday – just enough to tantalize and trim the trees with a little sparkle. So enchanting…at first! 😜

It’s so pretty but so hard to get out and around when we have it. It’s been threatened here but so far, we have been lucky. It can snow all it wants after Christmas.
