Made me smile; when we had the first ‘big’ snow on the day before the 1st advent, we were 4 people doing the advent & Christmas decoration of our church. One of the girls brought along by her mum, decorated the whole place in front of our church with snow angels and built a snowman which had to be relocated so that we all could use the door to enter/leave! It IS a beautiful and happy time, as long you can use it like a child (or for sport)
I’m a big kid at heart. The beauty of snow when it falls or just sits there is so beautiful and the peaceful quiet of it all is so peaceful and beautiful.
If the snow knew how to just stay snow and not turn to ice, I’d feel a bit more warmly towards it. As a child, I always warmed up to it no matter how it might have changed after landing.❄
I have to admit that I like watching snow fall. The world seems to become quiet and still and the spreading white blanket makes everything look clean and beautiful. Once it is done falling, though, I am 100% over it – the sounds of plows and shovels and the piles of dirty snow that has been mixed with the natural dirt of earth plus whatever material has been put down to help make the snow safer for travel – I want time to stop while it is snowing!
Yes, who doesn’t love new fallen snow? It just transforms the landscape into something beautiful and magical…alll those sparkles and that scent..How long does it take to bundle up all those littles to go out and play in it? Is their recess over by the time they’re ready to go out? :))

I love the snow, as long as the temp is not subzero and not a fan of driving on ice, but snow all good

I loved snow as a child, but once I was old enough to drive a car, I began to dread it. I still do.
Best wishes, Pete.

We got our first snowfall in New York City yesterday, an inch or so and enough for kids to have an imprint snowball fight on Broadway!

Fresh snow is clean and neat. Old snow is rumpled and dirty. When it’s new is the best.

I love the snow! It brightens up winter and, usually, when it is snowing, it’s not stupid-cold, either. Bring it on :)

I wish it wasn’t so cold so we could play in it. Still, being a totally summer person, I only like it for a short time.

I live in a sun-burnt country, Beth; I’ve only been to the snowfields three times with my kids; I don’t really know snow at all —

I used to love snow when I was a kid. It rarely snows here nowadays, today’s littluns don’t know what they’re missing!
