good one, Beth; we are lucky here; I’m only about ten minutes from two of the main Adelaide beaches; the streets leading to the esplanade are prodigious with pines :)
There are two pines trees that I sometimes stop walk by. I always step under them and say hello. It’s almost like time pauses. I thought it was just me.
I miss the crunch of the pine needles under my boots and the serenity the pines provide. Thanks, Beth. Your post made me remember some great memories. Cher xoxoxo
Oh this is perfect for me..I’m a tree hugger from way back when. I love trees but living in the Pacific NW I would have to say that it is fir-ing for me here. We have way more fir trees than pine but the scent of both is intoxicating.
Your photo is beautiful…is that up north somewhere? Chris
Yes, we feel very lucky to live here surrounded by all this natural green beauty. We moved here in 1978 from Flint, Michigan..btw and I’m sure you know this.. the Eastern White Pine is your state tree. :)
Remember, if you ever visit the NW let me know…greetings from Gig Harbor.
Beautiful capture of pine trees. I rarely see branches the needles occupy look this ‘loose’ and carefree, probably because my main reference is Christmas trees. 🤓
It’s a different world under the pine trees. 🌲

It made me wonder if C.S. Lewis did not come up with a wardrobe leading to Narnia, if he would have used two pine trees instead… :)

Hi Chris Oakland county, not far from me. I love fir trees too, both give off amazing scents. How lucky that you live in the Pacific Northwest
