Marc Riboud (1923 – 2016) was active in the French resistance as a young man during World War II, later studied engineering, and became a French photographer, best known for his extensive reports on the Far East.

  1. i love farmers’ markets – and their often unique offerings! great pairing. we have a weekly market too, not really farmers only, but also! lots of stalls, great atmosphere, meeting point for all (and coffee….)

  2. A stroll through a Farmers market can be so wonderful. Love seeing the fresh ingredients, including the fresh fruit, veggies and herbs. Always inspires cooking ideas.

    And love the quote about photography!
