  1. Every time I read about school shootings in America, I am left wondering just how many kids have to die before something is done about it. But the love of guns infects America like an incurable disease, sadly. We had one terrible school shooting in Scotland in 1996, and it caused so much outrage, personal ownership of almost all guns was banned one year later.

  2. yesterday’s post was marked ‘private’ – was that the one you re-made and posted today?
YES and YESS to it all – and great to involve the kids as early as possible to make them aware of such vital things, they eventually will have to live with!

  3. Yesterday’s news was so sad, tragic and again, unnecessarily avoidable. Thoughts and prayers are not enough and I’m glad there are people like you and your grandchildren who continue to speak up against these senseless and sad tragedies.

  4. Rather than address the issue of mental illness and accessibility to guns, we stand behind these five words: “the right to bear arms.” We will never solve this issue until we take corrective action and we will never take truly corrective action as long as we arm everyone
