Great photo! I am lost without my reading glasses. I have a cheap pair in every room in the house, and often still have a pair on my head when I am looking for the others.

Pete, why, somehow, I’m not surprised? I can’t allow myself such an indulgence with my v.expensive glasses, sadly. I bet you look like the proverbial absent-minded professor 🙃🙉

I have some expensive varifocals that I use when driving, but the magnifier/reading glasses are only around £5 a pair, so I have lots of them. 😃

;) about finding the right glasses; that quote is exactly my ‘problem’ – HH needed three pairs and I checked out a decent sized store twice for my new glasses – in vain! I asked the store mgr if they had anything a bit more daring, colour wise or whatever and he told me just to come back every 2 to 3 months. I tried on maybe a dozen pairs of glasses every time and just couldn’t commit to any of them…. so I’m still wearing my ‘old’ ones. I’m blind on one eye anyway and the good one is more or less the same (also bad!) but the LEAST I ask from destiny is that I find another pair I really, really like….
but you look beautiful and very cheerful (although I find it terrible to put glasses, hats, coats etc on animals, in general)

I want him!!! You know, I had cataracts removed from both eyes 2 years ago. I went from 20/20 to needing glasses. I feel like my mother with so many glasses sitting around for so many different purposes. What a pain in the you know what.

That is going to make me giggle all day long! I’m now wondering a bit about how I look in my own glasses…but seeing as they give me functional eyeballs it can’t matter all too much. 😭

I have very costly neuro lenses that help keep my eyes aligned. I could not function without these specialized prism lenses. So thankful for eyeglasses, which I’ve worn since age four.

I love it when my eye doctor dialates my eyes for exams…and then makes it a point afterwards to suggest I go next door to the eyeglass shop. “I’m pretty much blind right now but sure, let me go try out some glasses…”
