*Elbert Hubbard ( 1856- 1915) was an American writer, publisher, artist, and philosopher. Hubbard is known best as the founder of the Roycroft artisan community, an influential exponent of the Arts and Crafts Movement. He and his wife, Alice Moore Hubbard,  died aboard the RMS Lusitania when it was torpedoed and sunk by a German submarine  off the coast of Ireland in 1915.

  1. I don’t know why we like or don’t like something. Probably due to some prior experience we had with the activity that really had no connection at all. And while writing this I thought of a song I really liked and still do. “That’s the Way I Like It.” Being open minded and not being afraid to trying new things is good.

    ‘wine box jenga?’ What I’m afraid of is if I try it I’ll like it.

  2. There’s so much potential here for creativity in these boxes. This reminds me of the mega wooden box I used as a coffee table when I was just starting out and at my first job. The box came from the printing plant where the newspaper I worked for was printed each week. I kept that box for some 40 years, although it was repurposed and used in the garage after I got married.
