  1. Anthem (The first 3 verses)
    Song by Leonard Cohen

    The birds they sang
    At the break of day
    Start again
    I heard them say
Don’t dwell on what has passed away
Or what is yet to be

Ah, the wars they will be fought again
The holy dove, she will be caught again
Bought and sold, and bought again
    The dove is never free

Ring the bells that still can ring
    Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in

  2. Beautiful art. For weeks now, I’ve displayed a “Peace, not war” sign in my front picture window. I live along a busy street, so many see this message, which I’ve also carried at our weekly protests. I made a much larger peace sign also. After listening to our pres and the secretary of war (not peace), I feel more fired up to continue protesting. When will this madness end? We must press on.
