This NFL season, I noticed something strange.

The Carolina Panthers, apparently, moved the press box farther away from the scoreboard on the other end of Bank of America Stadium. Or, did they move the scoreboard farther away? Whatever. Talk about inconvenience.

I had to squint to see PANTHERS 7, BEARS 0 after a Brandon Lafell touchdown early in their first preseason game. Turns out, I need glassesI’m not alone.

Today’s guest poster, Beth, writes a post called I didn’t have my glasses on, a blurry-eyed look at life as a mom, teacher and cupcake maker. I can relate. Well, mostly to the blurry vision and cupcakes.

  1. I absolutely think that it is wonderful that you took this opportunity to explore, take pictures and find out more about your town! I have a back alley tour of my town that includes two beautiful murals of broken glass, ceramics and designs. The one looks like a ship or a fountain and the other looks like it is a beehive, which was sponsored by Beehive Book Store. Two elderly ladies painstakingly assembled these mosaics. I also show my “bar tour” from my apartment and through the alleys to get shortcuts and steps. I loved the astro turf and picnic tables you found among other incredibly interesting “landmarks!” This was fascinating!! Robin
