the kinders picked out a happy tune on our well-worn and much-loved piano.
it was a very cold day and we were kept inside. it sounded like kinder-ragtime.

I adore the learn-to-play numbers on the music book and the piano keys, Beth.
The hills are alive with the sound of kinders counting off numbers out loud as they hit the keys.
Beautiful.

Wonderful memories! We five kids grew up with a piano in the house. Even the plinking of a complete novice is pleasant (unlike the strident screeches of, say, a violin).

This was so awesome! I am impressed at the way you have the numbers and music for them to attempt to play! Also, such a lively musical day would imply ‘ragtime music!’ Those sweet girls have cute outfits on, too! All around a very sweet post today! Smiles, Robin

That is a lovely picture, love the colour of the piano, it makes it look like it’s made of marble :) I’m sure it isn’t though and that it sounds lovely :)

thanks, mike. it’s actually old, battered wood, painted green, with a lot of the color missing. probably why it has the ‘marble effect.’ and thanks for reading and following too ) beth
