Ahhhhh… the picture reminds me of the easy section at one of my regular mountain bike trails. So peaceful! This picture makes me want to walk, not ride, however. You have to take it all in.
The path looks so inviting with the sun and little bits of green showing, Beth. Nice quote where the sun is our very positive part of getting over winter.
I love both the photo and always your words. The photo conjures up thoughts of yesteryear of long walks, wonderful conversation and enjoyable quiet contemplation – Tom and I’ve had many strolls such as this. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane. Beth, I love your blog. Some days you make me giggle and twirl around in my chair. Now, it’s still contemplation as you’ve caused me to stop and truly appreciate the gardens I’ve created and can see beyond my office window. Thank you!
Looks like an old covered bridge down the path. I used to photograph many a covered bridge back in the day (including a few in Michigan) — mostly on country roads. Was the one in your photo moved there from a road for preservation?

True but far too many oppressed and starving people on this planet have no sunshime in their lives. Never will.
