  2. Food is a wonderful equalizer and unifier. Your cooking class sounds and looks awesome, Beth. It immediately reminded me of when my mom and friends would get together each week. Sometimes this included spring roll making sessions. They did a Chinese variation. Same rice paper shell but the filling were chopped carrots, tofu, and crushed peanuts, then wrapped in lettuce then rice paper. It was yum. A lot of work and time consuming but the joy was in the process of preparing them together.

    • this is spot on, ab. the process was so fun, first prepping everything, and then trying to put it together and everyone pitching in and trying to help and learn , led to a lot of laughs and really good food –

  3. Some time ago I went to a party. People came from different walks of life. When you arrived you were given a number and had to find other peoplecwith the same number, when complete we were given a recipe and a cooking space. We then had tk find our ingredients and then cook. In the end there were about six different dishes to share, Great way of getting people together.
