Love the wonder and awe of young kids – I wish my 8th graders would wonder more… but but that is the nature of my birds.

The awe of nature and creation is the same both young and old, I think, and that is probably why this particular blog made me smile a little more. Of course, my thoughts went beyond birds.. I’m thinking there has to be some awesome trails to ride in those woods!

My grandsons loved the “Winter Soltice” program of the TV show Little Bear–where the family strung all kinds of things on a pine tree for the forest creatures. This made me think of that.
